Our seasonally changing menus are carefully selected to provide guests and customers with a true TASTE OF EXMOOR using locally-sourced fresh products wherever possible with venison, pheasant, lamb and beef dishes as well fish and vegetarian options. In addition, we have a ‘specials board’ to provide a selection of high quality meals at very reasonable prices.
We are pleased to announce that we will have a new menu and wine list available soon. Changes to the menu will be made as fresh produce becomes available to offer a different selection to our customers. We also have a ‘specials’ board offering a selection of meals at attractive prices.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday to Thursday lunchtimes.
Our Sunday lunches offer two choices of locally sourced meats including a vegetarian option. Please call us if you have specific vegetarian preferences and we will see what we can do.
Our lunchtime menu offers a good selection of lighter meals, including sandwiches, and children have their own menu or can have smaller portions of our main menu dishes.
We have a selection of real ales on tap from local breweries including Exmoor Ales and St Austell Brewery as well as draft Guinness. Also on tap, there are some local ciders from Taunton and the South West and some popular lagers.
Behind the bar, we have a good selection of fine wines, ports, champagnes, malt whiskys, brandies and liqueurs to choose from.
